My Bio
I have had two back surgeries, a decompression and fusions and the fusions never healed properly. I am left with spondylolisthesis, osteoarthritus, scoliosis
and frequent attacks of sciatica. I have been taken off some medications due to a problem with my kidneys and the pain has increased a lot. I have started
methadone and gabapentine.I also have hypertension, high cholesterol, thyroid disease and depression. I have now been diagnosed with FM.
My Occupation
I was an a controller for a group of 12 companies (accountant). I love my job and the people I worked for became very good friends; we still visit back and forth. I went on disability in June 1999 and moved to a rural area 2.5 hours away. So now I consider myself retired.
My Hobbies
I enjoy reading, knitting, sewing, quilting, cross stitch. Hard to sew and quilt with my back pain. I have two cats and two dogs, so I spend a lot of time with
them.

How nice of you to stop by, Myrna - thank you! Yes we tend to be a tiny bit biased when it comes to our city. Even the rain we manage to turn to something positive that defines who we are. The filigree brooch that follows our local variety of the national costume is made to look like an umbrella with raindrops under if you tip it sideways (lol)
Hope the weekend has been good to you. My son and DIL left a minute ago after a wonderful evening with me.

I love your name by the way...unusual..
Sounds like you've been busy....funny you mentioning about making some home made produce...On Monday we will hopefully be able to sign for renting a plot of land we have seen.....we want to start growing our own organic fruit and veg.....I'm quite excited.....so got my fingers and toes crossed...LOL..
